Our Best MacKinnon's Embrin Daughter
As with most of my best horses I never had the opportunity to campaign my favorite mare. Shown sporadically by inexperienced students well into her 20's, she was a victorious warrior. As a foal my mom named her "Amy" --short for Amazon woman. "Amy" was exactly the mare I wanted from that mating. She was 15.3 hands of solid deep body and powerful trot from her mom with the long lovely Superman neck from her sire. She was my ideal mare and if all I did was breed her and found her dam line that would be enough. Except I also bred her big sister to another Superman son, Rapidan Apollo, and produced ATMF Superstition. Then I bred Amy's incredible daughter by Sondarling, ATMF Gold Charm, with Superstition to produce her stunning grandson, ATMF Against The Wind. "Amy" was also the dam of ATMF Majorette who produced several top show horses. Amy's other super nice daughters were sold into the dressage world and unfortunately didn't produce registered Morgans.

After a year of seaching I found exactly the right big beautiful Flyhawk grandaughter to found my Morgan sport horse program in 1974. Embrin was an unbroke 15.3H powerhouse trotting machine! She became a champion working hunter in open competition and showed successfully in english pleasure, driving, and even roadster at the Morgan shows. All her foals were top quality, and top producers too.
